....My grandfather served in WWII. He brought backa bunch of stuff that was willed to me when my grandmother passed a few yrs back. Well apparently a few items were given to my dad. He passed in '99 and just this past week my "ex-stepmother (is that a word?) let me have what my dad had. among the the items was a book from 1936 called ADOLF HITLER: BILDER AUS DEM LEBEN DES FUHRERS. It is in pretty good shape considering its age. It is missing about 15 pictures but all in all an awesome book. I have been told it is rare. It has been valued at around 300 BUT because my grandfather brought it back it means a whole lot more to me. Anyway just thought I would share....

Congrats...I understand about it meaning alot more coming from your Grandfather. I have some stuff from my grandparents, great grandparents, and even great-great grandparents that I would never ever part with. Is the book written in German? ...Kat

Yeah it is all in German. No english whatso ever. Depending on condition it ranges from 100-500 bucks. I found that out by habing it appraised. I was just curious to know. Now the other stuff is worth a bit more...
