I'm only guessing but they must have had quite a few of those AA Dshk's left over and thought that the inclusion of a figure would have everybody
rushing to buy it second time around, great looking set-up if you dont have the AA Dshk already...if you do all you have to do is either buy Lev boxed or buy
the uniform loose,i see Viktor's cap still has the big red star

From what I can see the head sculpt looks a bit like Berthold Nasse.

YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE- | ||

Due to "Cap & Trade" restrictions, as well as the signing of the Kieto Treaty, DML is announcing that ....I mean CH is announcing that all new
releases will be kit-bashed from former releases....to help save the planet and conserve petroleum products for future generations.......This effective until a
soloar powered 1/6 scale action figure can be successfully produced....... profitably......that is all-

Well I like it. The price for this set is almost $20 US less than the single "folding" DShK set priced at $88. (which I passed on). Not sure but I
think the AA sight is a new feature. There is a question on the MDFC as to whether the gun and figure are a combined set - sure looks like they are to me.
I'll update this thread with the answer once it is provided.
C-H released a bargain (ok, I know that word is relative) set with the Tiger I accessories and a tanker that was priced similar to this set. As a side note, the DShK has applications beyond WWII - good for Korean Conflict, probably good for modern Afghanistan too.

Did the germans ever use any of these MGs in a larger scale - like they did with the russian 75mm field gun?

I guess CH does listen to customers this must be the Russian Seaman those of you Russian fans are asking for.

IMHO I think DML and CH just does not want to invest more money into new molds and tooling. It seem like they are trying to get as much out of what they have.
It's a cool looking figure but, I don't buy from CH anymore after my brand new credit card # was stolen right after I placed an order with them.

I'll update this thread with the answer once it is provided. The price of 538 HKD is for the DShK and figure, and is described as a Special Offer.

Yes, this weapon was used in Nam. There may be model differences, small details, etc. that I'm unaware of, but DShKs were used, usually to try and shoot
down American choppers.

Yes, he does look like W! Ha ha!
It also looks like he's looking upward with a worried expression - that would be a cool expression for a headsculpt. |

Me thinks he looks like GW Bush....... Indeed he does. Just a friendly reminder, any reference to politics (negative or positive) will be removed. Saying he looks like a certain political figure is not a problem, but I know someone will be tempted to go beyond that. No latitude shown on this rule. |
