I took a year or so off from the hobby started work on my FOA Tiger. I was cleaning my yard the other day and had the foam sitting in my yard for over a year as well and it was getting beat so I decided to do the project I bought it for. So here is my 1/6th Flak Bunker. It's modeled after the 1/35th scale Verliniden one I built 25+ years ago. The 1/6th one is roughly 4' x 3' x 12". Now all I need is for Dragon to make the Quad Flak Gun and I'll have something to put in it! LOL 1/35 Verlinden model/dio. John Romano New England Area One-Sixth Scale

I have an account with Sheman Williams and I use their solid stain called Deckscapes. The color is something we had custom made so when we paint foundations it's an almost perfect match to comcrete. I like the Deckscapes because it's pretty much flat the Woodscapes has a little bit of a shine. Sheman Williams does great color matching. I had them do a brick color for a building we had to cover graffitti on and if it wasn't for the mortar you would never know we covered the bricks with paint. I have to use exterior grade solid stains they don't peel and take the weather very well because bi items like this have to stay in the yard. John Romano New England Area One-Sixth Scale

It's still pretty cheap and fun to work with compared to a lot of other materials. Hopefully I'll be able to get my stuff down to the Military Museum for a shhot. I have a pretty decent Machine Gun Bunker I built ages ago if you remember that. It's still in great shape considering it's been in my yard for years now. John Romano New England Area One-Sixth Scale

If i go by the 1/35th scale models it should be tight but i think i wouls add a little room in the main section just open it up a bit so the flak gun has a little more play. As it is it does fit with minimal room but will rotate the whole 360 degrees. I'll post a revamped set of plans later when i get a little more info. John Romano New England Area One-Sixth Scale

It's only some test shots there are a lot of mods I have to do to the gun so it's more accurate and get the figures all in the same unis. I need to add a camo net sandbags anbd loose gear for the next shoot.
