The Toys City box for the SS sniper with the SVT-40 lists the trousers as M43 drill - and they seem to be cut in the m43 style - but they are pea dot, which I am pretty sure didn't appear till the M44. Is this just a goof up on Toys City's part? Or am I missing something? If it is a goof up, what have you guys done to address the problem? I am thinking that with some careful posing of the trousers using the watered-down hairgel method, the flared sides of the paints could be pushed in such that they would look straight legged. Jokes don't go over well on the internet. Once on a forum for the Medal of Honor video game, I said the sequel should take place in the Boer War instead of WWII. Well joking aside - the drill uniform in peadot came in 43 and was cut much like the M43 field grey tunic and keilhose. So there is no error - and no need to correct anything. In 44 the herringbone peadot uniform was released - but cut in the same fashion - so it still allright. my info is from the book "Waffen SS uniform in colour photographs" by Andrew Steven and Peter Amodio (page 48 -50) - a must have!
