Other than buying one, there are a few accesories I want. Namely the Thompson.

I picked up mine from EBT last week, and I have to say as I was putting the figure together I became more and more impressed. I like the thicker bendy hands
although they are really tough to get into the gloves. Very impressive figure in my book!

I think you're talking about the Soldier Story Medic. The DID Medic only had one set of gloves and no bendy hands.

Great review I joined the Cots Myspace last night I never knew you guys had one. Good move I think Myspace gives you a great place to help with your business.
I don't really collect airborne figures but this is a figure that is definitely on my list of must haves I am on the fence with the SS one. I think the head sculpt on this one is the selling point.

I'm not into airborne figures for the most part either, but this is a nice one. The headsculpt alone is a must have.

Thanks John,
Yeah, we put the MySpace page about a month and a half ago. Still learning the ropes of how to use it properly. :-) Greg at Cotswold |

Great looking set, they really nailed the head sculpt imo, looks amazing, and all the gear he comes with is over the top, way cool stuff, thanks for posting

I just received a box of loose parts from the DID Gilbert Roe figure and i have to ask...why have DID altered the size of their M1 helmet ?.... unless it's
some sort of illusion or my eyesight's shot i'm sure my M1 is smaller than normal....what's going on DID...if it's not broke...dont fix it...am
i the only one that has a smaller M1 or has nobody noticed?.

Are you comparing the helmet in relation to Gilberts big head, or is it smaller compared to other DID US helmets? Boy if they changed the size that would be
an all time dumb move.

It's smaller than the other DID U.S M1's i own that's for sure.....for the life of me i cannot understand this....the best M1 available has just
turned in to a bad copy of a DML metal M1....unbelievable!.....i'm in shock |

Yeah, I noticed it too. I think the same was for Russell Frankyn's as well. It is very disappointing as the shape seems a bit off, the arc of the rim
almost seems too high in the rear. Also the 'newer' version seems shorter as well.
Is it possible that they need to redo their dies? Can they suffer the same fate as plastic and resin molds over time? Just a thought, as I'm not familiar how they make 'em. -JOSH |

So they managed to mess up the best US helmet on the market? That was the best thing about their US figures.

Got my Gilbert Roe last weekend, don't have time to open it until yesterday. The #1 and biggest reason that I bought this set(along with Soldier
Story's medic) is the head sculpt.
I don't know if it's just me or any one else think same that the head sculpt is off compare to the pictures DID post and the "skin" is prety rough I think. May be I will put the everything back in the box and put it on eBay this weekend since I already get the other medic. |
