Well, the redux of my War Room is almost complete and I was hoping I might get a few ideas as to how to set up my display area. (I'm
afraid I've hit a mental brick wall). Over the years I've seen some really good layouts posted here and so, if you wouldn't mind, could I get you
to post some pic's of your displays?

Not sure if you ever saw Ryan's basement but he had it set up super sweet. Forget what one might think of him, his displays are one of a kind. Home built barn, trees, he had it going good. You might want to check out some of the earlier pages (say around 20-29) on The Wolf's Lair to see what I mean.... paul

Posted this some time ago, but here you go. I have 3 war rooms in the house. This is the 1/6 war room.
Small Medic Shelf Dio. Used some IKEA LED's for the inside lighting...

Oh yeah, This is the room that jumps into my mind every time I think of a "war room". My room is much smaller, but I see a
lot of good ideas here. Thanks for the photos.

YES - I agree... the two pictured Shermans are my favorites of everything in the pics! The weathering is just right.
Jokes don't go over well on the internet. Once on a forum for the Medal of Honor video game, I said the sequel should take place in the Boer War
instead of WWII. No one got the joke; they thought I was serious. I was thoroughly lambasted, browbeaten, and dressed down. Trades:

This is my collection from 2004 (One day I'll take more pics.
 )
I have my troops standing on tiers made from one inch insulation foam. It means you get a pretty good look at all of them and it also makes it easier to fish out the ones near the back.

Those risers are a great idea, Dan. I'm going to give that a shot. I'm also toying around with the idea of working up some single figure and small
group wall sconces like someone (arbomambo?) recently posted.
At this time, though, they're simply clustered together on a granite shelf in my dining room and some storage shelves in my living room, and the dining room table is my workbench. So no pictures for now.
