It's hard to believe it's 1/6! Great repaint!
Try 2/12th scale figures. Twice the detail! |

"John Locke (b. 1632, d. 1704) was a British philosopher, Oxford academic and medical researcher, whose association with Anthony Ashley Cooper (later the First Earl of Shaftesbury) led him to become successively a government official charged with collecting information about trade and colonies, economic writer, opposition political activist, and finally a revolutionary whose cause ultimately triumphed in the Glorious Revolution of 1688. Much of Locke's work is characterized by opposition to authoritarianism. "

I've seen some very impressive headsculpts before but that just might be the most realistic representation I've ever seen.
If it wasn't detached and sitting on a cup, I would think it real. Scott

- I thought perhaps boot25 was getting philosophical! You can tell I don't catch much TV
Edited to add: That is an incredible sculpt and paintjob. The skin of the more elderly Locke is depicted perfectly as opposed to unblemished skin on a younger sculpt. Beautiful work.

He's been in a lot of films, and on a lot of television as well, Like Young Guns and Tombstone, for instance

Yeah, that's incredible - I dont understand how you actually make the skin look soft and spongy...
I broke down and bought a dremel.

I never cease to be amazed at your work. Everything about it is so real looking. I think what is most impressive is the tones of the skin, amazingly lifelike!

I'm speechless. I've been an admirer of your work for many a year, but this tops them all. Phenomenal.

I too have admired your work but never thought this kind of realism could be reached.
You have done it John. Congrats Steve |
