Is that the Toyrific tool box or some other brand? Anybody know if Big Lots or some other dollar-type store has any 1/6 tools? I've seen the tools from Expertoys on a couple of dealer sites but they appear too modern for our use. This guy would look cool next to the Anlasswagen I recently built, good job! Smell the plastic (retirement is good)

I agree...so many of the really nice bashes (like this one) follow the 'simpler is better' philosophy... That's probably one of the reasons I don't get all bent out of shape when every figure release doesn't come equipped as if he's storming Omaha Beach all by himself...so many great character studies are very simple! It really shows how much can be said with a simple, less cluttered approach. I find it very powerful, the crew-chief watching as his plane fades from view, not sure if he'll see his 'boys' again. Every well done figure tells a bit of a story, maybe different for each of us. I would title this one "Safe home..." or "Godspeed...". Thanks for the post, Edgar P.S. Henrik, I would love to display my entire collection and post some good photos too. But the majority are all boxed up awaiting the day I finish my play room in the basement. My wife calls it "The Bunker". I have high hopes that I'll have it completed this year. And then, I promise I'll post some pic's. Geno.
