I don't care if this is a static model, I rather like it.
The tack and harness looks pretty sweet, too.

Perfect! I was hoping this might find its way into general release!

That would look sweet with a southern calvary officer from the 19th century as well as many WWII possibilities.

Looks awesome, a must get, but I wonder how it balances since the foot is detached from the base in the packaging?? I would have expected some kind of wire
support running through the base and legs.

As much as I love DiD stuff, i've never been a fan of the head/face of their horses.

I think DiD horses are the best! DML and Power Team horses are too toy like the joints are huge and not very realistic looking as far as the way they can be
posed. The DiD horses are more realistic looking in every way. With the 4 releases including this one, they give you a good choice of different poses. I am
sure DiD will make more in the future. There are a lot of miniature horse collectors and from what I have heard they love the DiD ones so I am sure DiD is not
just aiming for the 1/6th collectors. I also agree once the DML or Power Team horses are kitted out with gear and a rider they usually are a static display
model. No matter what they still look like toys with thos huge joints. Unless your going to fill the joints and repaint they never will look realistic.

Just a quick poll:
1. How many of you complainers about the DiD horse have ever been around horses for more than eight hours? (Riding or tending, not watching the races on TV?) 2. Who makes a better 1/6 scale horse (NOW) than DiD? Looking forward to seeing the results...

I concur the above posts. DiD makes the best horses to-date and puts DML ones to shame. They're as real as it gets 1/6th.

I have two of the standing DiD horses, including a white horse. I'd say they are the best available. I plan on getting one of the charging versions. If
you are considering buying one, I would recommend that you get one at a show where you can take a good look at it. There is quite a bit of variation in the
quality of the seems

I think the heads on this charging one, and the trotting one, look super. The only DiD horse whose head seems a little off is the brown standing one. It's
hard to describe but it just looks a little too elongated (especially the nose).
