I had no idea the Do335 was so BIG!!! Makes the rest look kinda puny.

Over on the MDFC they're asking for input as to what figures we'd like to see in the "Dragon's 'Value +' line" over in the "MDFC Marketing Survey" topic. If anyone still belongs there please go over and put in your vote for more pilots.

I think they're asking for figures based on gear that's already out. There's enough pieces/parts that have been done...

Thanks for that info Edgar....i have made at least a dozen kits of the He219 over the years and even though i hadn't seen one in the flesh so to speak i never knew that the only one is in Washington, i'm totally dumbstruck....it's one of my favourite two Luft aircraft which makes it an even bigger surprise to me......the more i think about it, the times i have visited aircraft museum's throughout Europe and never questioned why i hadn't seen one becomes an even bigger...

Yes, it's the only He219 left. What's even more amazing is that it sits next to the last Ar234 and the last Do335 known to...

Thanks guys for all of the great replies. Without a doubt, the most fun that I've had to date putting together a figure. I have four other figures nearing completion but this one just took over and finished first.

You ought to post this over on the Wehrmacht Awards Forum. I don't think I've ever seen photos of that helmet and I thought those guys had everything!

Good combination of clothing and nice HS. I wish NLM or BGT would come out with some cloth Luftwaffe crushers and emblems.

This is a bash I put together of a Ar 234 pilot, 8 Staffel of III./KG76 based at Achmer, Germany in December '44. Ofw. Wilhelm 'Willi' Häfner is seen here preparing for a sortie on Dec.24 to attack rail targets at Namur, Belgium. Late December '44 would be a busy time for his unit with attacks on troop concentrations at Liege and Bastogne on the 26th and 31st.
