Stretcher-Bearer, 1st London Scottish, 56th ( London) Division, Monte Camino Dec 1943 .

This figure sort of started as an RAMC orderly , but since my refs were not very detailed , I decided to change him into one of the Stretcher Bearers from the
London Scottish tramping up and down Monte Camino in the winter of 43/44 ( part of the advance to the Cassino position ). This figure features in a Mike
Chappell plate, itself based on a very moving photograph .

These are the type posts that keep me trying and coming back. The realistic portrayal of the men, weather, kit and conditions are done in a manner here that
bring us into the situation with the figures. Great figures, and your post brings it home. I really enjoy the photography which allows us access to the scene
and the research that drives the point home.

Your work is always such a pleasure to see. Awesome job.
I know that grip hands in resin are impossible to get around a weapon they will break or destroy a paint job.
But other hands we could use Tony, I wish we could talk you into them.
I know it is costly to make molds and all that but please think it over again.
