			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Here is my version of a Tarawa marine on Nov 23 1943 D+3. As most  know and who have read about this battle it must have been unimaginable! I wanted to
depict a marine who has fought for 3 days on that bloody atoll. I chose a Tony Barton headsculpt for this figure and I tried to capture a very battle weary
marine. I cannot say enough about Tonys headsculpts, they are just fantastic! I also wanted to depict him with a few japanese war souviners. I have done a few

			<title><![CDATA[ A-frame Assembly ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I see alot of pics of the a-frame/battle bag/zeltbahn assembled wrong so I thought I would post pics of the real thing assembled. The battlebag goes under the
zeltbahn, and the messtins are at the top horizontaly. Here is a pic of my real items assembled and attached to the y-straps. The narrow end is at the top
connected to the d-rings on the y-straps. The auxillary front straps go under the arms and connec to the bottom corners of the a-frame assembly.

I´ve finally decided to take some photos of the 120 mm mortar and accesories.

The mortar is the russian version with some details added,  a &quot;bit&quot; of sandpaper and some coats of paint.

The carrier and the ammo carrier also have some scratch pieces and were finished with the same paint.
<br>
<br>
I´m thinking to give the whole thing a layer of dust and some weathering, but by now is enough.
