Fall Connecticut GI Joe Show, Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the North Haven Holiday Inn right off of I-91 exit 12.

General admission $5 from 10 AM - 3 PM, Early Bird admission $10 from 9 AM - 10 AM. Children under 12 FREE!!!!!

Hey So Cal hobbiest, there is an opportunity in early October for an outdoor dio. This was suggested by the guys from SWAG (South West Armor Group) and would occur in conjunction with "Marching Through History" at Prado Park in Chino.

1st Annual AWH 2009 Xmas Show
Saturday, Dec. 5th - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
AWH is traditionally an annual event, however, due to repeated demand from local attendees and support from vendors, AWH will experiment with its 1st annual AWH Xmas Show on Dec. 5, 2009, at the Glendale Civic Auditorium.
Setup for exhibitors remains unchanged between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2009.

Toronto Model Soldier Show (Sat June 13th)

The Ottawa 1/6th Club is packing up our Toychest and heading to Center of the Known Universe (Toronto Ontario) for a model soldier show. Show date is Saturday June 13th and takes place at Fort York, 100 Garrison Rd.

The show will have a lot of lead figures, however other scales from 1/35th 1/72nd and of course the Ottawa boys will be there! Thus far I can say that there will be at least one...

Hey all, the LSSR is hosting another get together in Ennis, TX (30 miles south of Dallas on I45) this coming March 21st from 9:00 am to whenever we stop. We're going to do a WWII era French village post D-Day but before BOB, so no Germans wearing heavy winter gear. Gonna keep it simple - Germans versus American forces (and French Resistance). Bring what you think works best for the dio - figures, jeeps, tanks, trees, buildings - you name it.
