Heads up that the gears are in motion for the 5th installment of the Great Texas G.I. Joe Show for March 15th and 16th, 2008. We've decided to expand the size of the show, thus we're relocating to the Arlington Convention Center. Now, instead of being cramped in a 1200 square foot room, we'll now be in a spacious 4300 square foot showroom. We're also hammering out details to have seminar/workshops in the adjoining rooms, plus additional rooms dedicated to display...

The Great Texas G.I. Joe Show will be hosted this year in the DFW area (Richardson to be exact) from March 17th and 18th. Admission is free to this show. The show will be hosted alongside the Dallas Comic Con (which is in the same place (Richardson Civic Center), in another hall. Admission is free to this event as well.

Just a heads up that the Dallas Comic Con will be going on next weekend in Plano, TX. It will be on October 28th (11:00 am to 6:00 pm) and 29th (12:00 pm to 5:00 pm) at the Plano Centre off 2000 East Spring Creek Parkway. $10 for adults, kids 12 and under get in free. Tons of comic book artists and creators will be there, as well as some notable tv and movie actors/actresses.

For those Kameraden living on the Eastcoast near Pennsylvania, you should try to come out to the World War II Weekend in Reading, PA on June 2-4 (www.maam.org). There will be about 100 flying WWII aircraft, including a real Me-109, Lancaster bomber, Spitfire, and Hurricane, plus living history encampments with over 1000 reenactors and military vehicles.
